A very good and useful text for the practicing control engineer. From derivations via first principles to a complete set of algebraic and differential equations through to computer code ! Wonderful. Certainly a useful investment. The equations describe distillation coulmns, simple reactors and give all the initial conditions required for one to develop one's own models after seeing the full job done. I work in an operating refinery and will use this text for some time, and will recommend it to junior engineers too.Product details

It is a wonderful book who really wants to learn chemical process modeling and their simulation. Along with deriving the model, the simulation steps are also documented with computer program which helped me to reproduce my own model simulation. I am working in a refinery in Korea and it helped me a lot.
